Howeth Returns to Denver as SEND Front Range Coordinator
By Jim Misloski, Team Leader of Church Planting and Missions
Dave Howeth has recently returned to Denver to serve as the Send Front Range Coalition Coordinator for the North American Mission Board.
Dave has been serving as the State Director of Missions and the Church Starting Team Leader for the Montana Baptist State Convention. Prior to serving in Montana he was the Church Planting Strategist for the Mile High Baptist Association in Denver. He and his wife Debbie have three grown children.
The Send Front Range Coalition is a pastor led, NAMB supported initiative designed to increase the church planting capacity of Southern Baptist Churches in the Longs Peak, Mile High and Pikes Peak Baptist Associations along the front range of the Rockies. As the coalition coordinator, Dave will pursue and develop partnerships from churches outside the state of Colorado in an effort to enhance and expand the existing church planting efforts of Colorado Baptist Churches.
“Debbie and I are excited to come back to Denver to serve with pastors, planters and missionaries who share a similar burden and passion to reduce lostness by making reproducible generational followers of Jesus Christ in the city and across the front range,” Dave Howeth said. “We look forward to working with and for the churches, pastors and planters in seeing the gospel planted, disciples made and new churches birthed that grow and multiply.”
Jim Walters, pastor of Bear Valley Church is currently serving as the chairman of the Send Front Range Coalition. He and Dave will work closely together to invite interested churches to join this cooperative church planting effort along the front range.
