Seminary Students Ready to Serve

James and Patty Alexander are husband and wife Master of Divinity students at Golden Gate’s Rocky Mountain Campus. Married for 22 years, they have five children and are presently ministering at their church, The Rising, in Arvada, CO.

“We plan to go into full-time ministry when we retire in two years,” said James. “Currently we’re both working for the government, and expect to be financially self-sufficient so we won’t burden any ministry. We want to be as open as possible to God’s leading.”

James has enjoyed his seminary experience. “It’s a small campus, but I was surprised at the variety of professors with whom I was able to study.” Patty agreed, “We’ve received a solid education. It’s local, and it made the best use of our time. We want to be prepared for God to use us in ministry.”

James will graduate with his MDiv on May 14th.
