How to Get Involved
Partnership Missions - Partnership is defined as persons associated with each other in some activity of common interest; those who cooperate in a venture in which each has equal status; a partner is someone who, out of a common cause, has taken one's side and can be relied upon.
That is the goal of the Colorado Baptist Convention in partnering with Belarus, Canada and the state of Missouri. In partial fulfillment of Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19 to "GO," Colorado Baptists want to join God in His work in these three places to build His Kingdom by bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, developing faithful disciples, and planting healthy churches that reproduce themselves.
Why three different Partnerships? It gives the churches of Colorado more opportunity and variety depending on time and finances. You can choose to be involved in one partnership, or if God leads, all three. Opportunities are available for everyone regardless of age, gender, physical ability or financial resources.
The foundation for all of the partnership opportunities is PRAYER. We cannot begin to accomplish all that God has for us without first seeking His face for direction, opportunity, workers for the harvest and physical and financial resources.
Add Partnership Missions to the prayer concerns in your church and see if God is calling you to join in this work in some additional way.
Following are descriptions of opportunities in which you and your church can participate. These things are suggestions. You and your church may have additional ideas that are not listed here. Please contact Ron Clement, Prayer and Evangelism Team Leader (303-771-2480 ext. 236) to discuss how you can implement your ideas with our partners.
